We will be meeting at the future home of the Dill Pickle Food Co-op (3039 W Fullerton) this Saturday at 1pm, where we'll go over FAQs and canvassing techniques. Then at 2pm we will head out in pairs to knock on doors in the neighborhood and situate ourselves at busy intersections and bus stops to introduce people to the Pickle and recruit new members. At 4:30 or 5 we will meet up at the Streetside Cafe (3201 W Armitage) to share our experiences over drinks and snacks!
We'll have canvassing materials ready for you, so no need to bring anything but yourself and your overflowing enthusiasm for opening the Co-op! Canvassing is lots of fun and we have found people to be very receptive and supportive in the community so far, so we hope that you'll come out and help us to reach our goal of 300 new members by September!
