The Dill Pickle Food Co-op's Product Selection Committee will be meeting for the first time on Thursday, July 10 at 6:30 pm in the meeting room of the Logan Square Public Library. Our meeting will be spent discussing the following topics: how do we define local and regional, GMO's, fair trade, supporting fair labor practices, and affordability. Our long-term goal is to develop the initial guidelines for the products that the Co-op will carry, create a list of vendors and products, and then present a proposal to the Dill Pickle Board. Please bring any useful information that you have about products and vendors. Our meeting is open to anyone and we value your input, so we hope you will join us.
