Board moves to reorganize under Minnesota Co-op law, adopt bylaws

At a meeting on December 13, the Dill Pickle Board of Directors took the first step in a process to reorganize the cooperative corporation. The Co-op is currently an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and the board is seeking to become a Minnesota Cooperative Corporation, under section 308A of Minnesota Statues.

Dill Pickle Food Coop's First Board Meeting

The Dill Pickle Food Co-op's first elected board met on Wednesday November 15 th at ACME. The newly elected 9 member board consists of Billy Burdett, Jen Roth Cozad, Josh Deth, Kath Duffy,Todd Edwards, Madeline Fan, Julia Goode, Kevin Kanoski, and Gala Orba.

Last week at our benefit concert at Elastic we signed up our 100th member household. Although the big news was not immediately apparent, it was fitting that a celebration was underway. In addition to bringing a few new investors into the fold, the benefit raised over $1000 for the co-op, which almost gets us to our first monetary goal of $10,000.
