Board moves to reorganize under Minnesota Co-op law, adopt bylaws

At a meeting on December 13, the Dill Pickle Board of Directors took the first step in a process to reorganize the cooperative corporation. The Co-op is currently an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and the board is seeking to become a Minnesota Cooperative Corporation, under section 308A of Minnesota Statues.

After reviewing draft documents from the Co-op's lawyer, Laddie Lushin the board made a few changes before reaching consensus to submit the action to membership for approval in early 2007. The board approved the following documents:

  • Plan of Reorganization

  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Bylaws

Once final revisions are made, copies will be posted to the website. Stay tuned for announcement of the membership meeting.
